![]() If I could change the grid to 122 BPM and use the metronome, I'd be able to attend to things quickly. But it's currently pretty much impossible trying to align multiple off-tempo percussion clips and clip fragments stacked across, say, 10 tracks. It can be fine for the purpose of basic, obvious synth, guitar, drum etc parts that have obvious transients and start/end points. Being able to view how the bars fall for this section as 122 BPM would now be incredibly helpful, allowing me quickly to align slightly out of whack transients in clips where accuracy is key and to use the metronome.Ĭurrently, as a very crude workaround, I've created a 'click track' of a kick drum to try to try to align beats of bar. QUESTION - Is it possible to change a global BPM, or to automate Master BPM for a particular section, but leave the clips already in the piece totally intact? This rather than have the tempo of clips automatically changing as soon as you alter global BPM or automate Master BPM for a section?įor example, I have a section of the piece which is 122 BPM. Massive regrets now that the project has become a complex 15-minute, 150+ track piece and I need to go back and iron out some audio timing issues I've noticed in some clips. For various reasons I continued to work in 80 BPM rather than automating Master tempo for these quicker sections. There were quicker sections in the piece that developed subsequently. I started working in 80 BPM on a project which had a long slow section at the start, and also a slow section in the middle.
